Detailed instructions on formatting, structures, and submission requirements.
1 Structure and Page Layout
- Manuscript format: Single-column or double-column, line-numbered PDF. Use 12pt Times New Roman font for standard sections.
- Abstract requirement: Every manuscript must begin with a structured abstract of no more than 300 words, clearly stating the geoscientific objective, methods, and key findings.
2 Figures, Tables & References
- Resolution: High-resolution figures (minimum 300 dpi) in PNG, JPEG, or EPS format, embedded within the text or uploaded separately.
- Citation style: SGCG publications follow the standard Harvard referencing system (Author-Date style) for bibliography layout.
3 Submission & Review Process
- Uploading documents: Both the abstract PDF (max 5MB) and full content file (max 10MB) must be submitted via the portal.
- Double-blind peer review: SGCG implements double-blind review pipelines where identity of authors and reviewers are kept anonymous.
